An international special needs school in Kuwait is seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team in August 2025. The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with a range of learning differences and developmental needs. The ideal candidate will be committed to individualized education, student empowerment, and collaborative teaching practices.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to students’ individual education plans (IEPs).
- Support students with a variety of learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Work closely with therapists, teaching assistants, and parents to ensure holistic support.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies as needed.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment.
- Contribute to the development of school-wide SEN practices and inclusive education initiatives.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
- Minimum of two years of post-qualification experience working with students with special needs.
- Experience with individualized education plans and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
- Experience in an international or multicultural setting is an advantage.
