The Logistics Coordinator is a pivotal position within our organization, responsible for managing the logistics and supply chain operations to ensure the smooth flow of goods and services. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including shipping agents, customs, and transportation agents for foreign purchase orders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, with experience in handling international shipments and working closely with finance to manage letters of credit. Additionally, the Logistics Coordinator will be tasked with purchasing bulk materials from local suppliers, particularly for our HVAC Contracting department. A successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure while ensuring compliance with all regulations.Responsibilities: * Assign shipping agents, customs, and transportation agents for foreign purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.

Follow up on international order shipments to track progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
Coordinate with the finance department to issue letters of credit to foreign suppliers and manage the receipt of shipping documents from the bank.
Act as a purchaser for bulk materials, primarily sourcing from local suppliers for the HVAC Contracting department.
Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions and documentation for auditing purposes.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to meet project demands.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and optimize supply chain processes.
Conduct regular reviews of logistics operations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Ensure compliance with all local and international shipping regulations and safety standards.
Provide training and support to team members on logistics procedures and best practices.

Preferred Candidate: * 3–5 years of experience in a logistics coordinator or similar role.

Bachelor's Degree in any discipline, preferably in logistics or supply chain management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address logistics challenges.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work with suppliers and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
Proficient in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of customs regulations and import/export procedures.
Team player with a proactive approach to logistics management.
Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
