The Accountant position in the construction and building industry in Kuwait is essential for managing the financial and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess 7-10 years of experience in accounting, with a strong bilingual capability to facilitate communication in both English and Arabic. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can efficiently handle accounting tasks while also managing administrative responsibilities, ensuring the smooth operation of the division.Responsibilities:Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports in compliance with local regulations.Manage payroll processes and ensure timely payment to employees.Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting for the division.Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation.Implement and maintain accounting software and administrative systems.Provide support in administrative tasks, including office management, preparing presentations (PPT) & procurement.Act as a liaison between the accounting department and other divisions within the company.Preferred Candidate:Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of financial regulations.Experience in the construction industry is an advantage.Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.Proactive approach to improving financial processes and systems.
