Supports the Plant Manager in overseeing daily operations in a foam and mattressproduction facility. This role ensures operational efficiency, quality, safety, andemployee productivity across all manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate hashands-on experience in mattress production and can contribute to processimprovement, team supervision, and compliance with industry standards.Responsibilities- Assist in coordinating and supervising production schedules for foam blocksand mattress assembly lines.- Monitor production output, material usage, and scrap rates to ensureoptimal efficiency and minimal waste.- Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and support the QA teamin resolving product quality issues.- Supervise production line leaders and operators in the absence of the PlantManager.- Provide training and guidance to ensure standard operating procedures(SOPs) are followed.- Support employee performance reviews and discipline when required.- Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenanceand minimize downtime.- Report machinery issues promptly and follow up on resolution timelines.- Verify inventory consumption rates and participate in cycle counts orphysical inventories.- Identify areas for continuous improvement in production flow, laborefficiency, and material yield.- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, includingOEE, downtime, scrap analysis, and output.- Collaborate with ERP system for accurate data logging and tracking.- Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean and organized manufacturingarea.- Participate in safety inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits.- Promote a culture of safety and responsibility across the team.Work Nature- Duty time : 48hr/week, one day off,In-call when required- Scope of the responsibilities changing when required.Communication ChannelsInternal Communication- Regular contacts with subordinate managers and team leaders in all plant areasto Plan, discuss and agree operational requirements
